My life outside editing

Because freelance editing can be an isolated existence I like to get involved with projects outside my "day job" that include team work and working with other people. I'm passionate about gardening - particularly community gardens - and green spaces.

I also love travelling, staying in simple natural surroundings in warm climates. Laos is a particular favourite.

Around my home town of Poole I am active in the local Transition Town group and have helped to set up a community orchard near my house. I also belong to the international lobby group RESULTS, working to raise awareness of what can be done to end hunger and poverty,

My husband Trevann is a talented artist and musician. We have two grown-up children, Holly and Ben, who are also blessed with talents in art and music.
